BARBIE FAIRYTOPIA LAVERNA LAIR SERIES

It had the power to weaken every flying creature in Fairytopia if they breathed it in they would become so weak they would lose the power to fly. Laverna calls her minions, Fungus, who reveal Laverna's formula. She plans to kidnap all of the guardians and then take over Fairytopia. Topaz, one of the fairy guardians has been kidnapped by Laverna. Bibble is asleep, and Elina feels uneasy, but Peony plays a lullaby for her, and she falls asleep. Elina talks to Bibble about what the pixies said, but she thinks Topaz is too powerful to get kidnapped, as she is a guardian.

Elina and Bibble go back to Peony, where her flower home. Elina thinks that Laverna is a myth, but Dandelion is unsure so she goes home to ask her mother. This is so they don't get kidnapped by someone named Laverna (the twin sister of the queen of Fairytopia).

They later come back to warn Dandelion and Elina to go home 'where it's safe'. Dandelion, however, defends Elina by fluttering her wings so hard that the small pixies are blown away. The pixies make fun of Elina for having no wings, but Elina ignores their taunting. Elina is often teased by the other pixies for being wingless, all except for Dandelion, Elina's best friend. In the land of Fairytopia lives Elina, a wingless flower fairy, and her puffball friend Bibble. This film is followed by two sequels: Barbie: Mermaidia and Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow, and two spin-offs Barbie Mariposa and Barbie: Mariposa and the Fairy Princess. The film features the voice of Kelly Sheridan, who voices the Barbie protagonist in all the CGI Barbie films to date. As with the previous Barbie films, a line of toys, dolls, and other products were made based on and released in conjunction with the film. The plot centers on a wingless flower fairy named Elina who must save the land of Fairytopia from an evil fairy named Laverna. Of computer-animated Barbie films, and the first to have an original storyline not based on previous material.
